…into a home for the Beta Phi Chapter at the University of Idaho by Making a Pledge & Earning Naming Rights to a room in the new house recognized on an Engraved Plaque!
What is this supporting?
The Idaho Alumni Association of Alpha Gamma Rho is purchasing and remodeling the former TKE house on the University of Idaho campus to make a permanent home for the Beta Phi Chapter. Fundraising for the new Beta Phi house is now in full swing and will continue through August 2009. After that, the engraved plaques will be ordered and installed in the designated rooms. You can see your engraved plaque and dedicated room at Homecoming in Fall 2009. Our program will be set up to allow for up to 25 months to make your planned pledge. However, you are encouraged to donate as much of your pledge as soon as possible.
Where Does Your Money Go?
Donations can be non-tax deductible, tax deductible, or a combination of each. Non-tax deductible gifts are controlled by the Idaho Alumni Association of Alpha Gamma Rho, Inc., in a money market fund managed by D. A. Davidson. Tax deductible gifts are controlled by the National fraternity in the Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho – Beta Phi Housing Fund account. Non-tax deductible donations are the preferred method as funds can be more readily accessed. Regardless of which way funds are donated, it is estimated that if we reach our fundraising goal of $410,000, $400,000 will go toward Beta Phi Housing. The other $10,000 will go to the cost of fundraising and engraving.
Pledge Donation Levels
The goal of the pledge fundraising program is $410,000. It can be achieved by 70 donors. Rooms available for naming rights are stated below each minimum donation level (see NEW HOUSE Sketches/Drawings for room locations):
$2500 Level (40 needed for $100,000 total)
* The Hundred Thousand Dollar Lounge
$5000 Level (16 needed for $80,000 total)
* ½ sponsorship of 1 of 15 study rooms
$10,000 Level (7 needed for $70,000 total)
* Sole sponsorship of 1 of 15 study rooms
$15,000 Level (4 needed for $60,000 total)
* 1 of 2 Senior Quads, Housemother Quarters, Kitchen
$25,000 Level (2 needed for $50,000 total)
* Dining Room, Chapter Room
$50,000 Level (1 needed for $50,000 total)
* Chapter House

Additional Ordering Instructions:
· Please print clearly using dark ink on the pledge form when specifying how you want your donation to be recognized and what your payment plan is
· The Idaho Alumni Association of Alpha Gamma Rho will reasonably act in reliance upon your pledge to borrow money, incur expenses, enter into contracts, undertake projects or obligations, or solicit additional donations toward the new house project
· You will be recognized in print for the level of your donation by name unless specifically requesting to remain anonymous
· Naming rights to rooms will be reserved on a first pledge form received basis. If someone else reserves the room you request before we receive your form, we will notify you to work out a solution
